NORTHEAST BOUNDARY TUNNEL PROJECT (NEBT)
The Northeast Bounday Tunnel (NEBT) is the biggest component of DC Water’s Clean Rivers Project that consists of a sewer tunnel increasing the capacity of the District’s sewer system. VSL is responsible for the ventilation control building electrical scope of work. This work includes a motor control center located in the electrical room of the building that VSL purchased and installed while connecting all instrumentation and electrical components to regulate air flow for the tunnel. The value of the contract is $1,425,000.
