South Carolina Department of Transportation's (SCDOT) Carolina Crossroads is one of the largest construction ventures in South Carolina’s history. The project is broken down in five phases and consists of reconfiguring 14 miles of redesigned corridor along I-20/26/126. Specifically, Phase-II focuses on improvements in Richland County along the interstate corridor of I-20. This project is intended to increase mobility and enhance traffic operations by reducing congestion along the I-20 corridor and accommodate future traffic needs. This includes a portion of the I-20 widening and reconstruction of the Broad River Road at I-20 interchange. VSL’s scope consists of signage and overhead sign structures located within the project.
