CAPITAL ONE HEADQUARTERS BUILDINGS
VSL was a subcontractor to Whiting Turner on the Capital One Headquarters Buildings project. VSL’s scope included the traffic signal infrastructure, both temporary and permanent, for two intersections connecting the entire Capital One Headquarters. Work included all underground conduit and junction box installation, electrical services, traffic signalization cabinet installation, and programming. Part of the scope included pedestrian improvements by adding push buttons and pedestrian traffic signals. Motorist improvements consisted of loop detectors, emergency vehicle preemption, and high visibility traffic signal heads.
